William M. Moore

Died:    11 Nov 1911   [Possibly Haskell County, Texas]

Spouse:   Agnes Johnson   b. 9 Aug 1860   d. 6 Jul 1930
Married:    10 Oct 1883 -- White County, Tennessee

William Moore was born February 28, 1855 in Tennessee. He married Mary Agness Moore on October 10, 1883 in White County, Tennessee. (She is listed as Agness Johnson on the marriage documents.) The witnesses for the marriage were D. Keathley and S. S. Robertson.

In the 1900 census William and Agness Moore were living in District 3 of White County, Tennessee with their three children: Maud, Joseph and Willie. By 1910 the Moore family had relocated to Justice Precinct 5, Haskell, Texas with their four children Maud, Joseph, Willie and now Reese.

William Moore died November 11, 1911, most likely in Haskell County, Texas.

The 1920 census finds Agnes and the children living in Coventry, Summit County, Ohio running a boarding house. All four children are living there as well as two of her brother Sidney's adult children (Lillian and Hayden). There are a number of other people living at the boarding house. (page 2 of 43)

In 1930, the census shows Agnes living in Akron, Summit County, Ohio with her unmarried daughter Maude, along with her daughter Willie with her husband Charles F. Woods and their one year old son Charles W. Woods.

Mary Agnes died in Summit County, Ohio on July 16, 1930. She is buried in Bethlehem Cemetery in White County, Tennessee. [Place of burial is unsubstantiated.]
