Sarah Johnson was born approximately 1828 to James and Temperance Johnson in Tennessee.
Sarah's siblings included: Susan, Stokely D, Tempy, James, Stephen W, Nancy, Abel, Martha, Amanda E, Margaret, and Martha.
Sarah married Russell B. Wilder.

In the 1860 census, R.B. and Sarah are living in White County, Tennessee with their children Temperance, Susan and James.
In the 1870 census, there is no record of R.B. or Sarah. However, there are James and Stokley Wilder children are living
with James and Temperance, while Susan Wilder is living with her brother Stokley Johnson. It is assumed that Sarah has died,
and possibly R.B. Wilder. Their burial sites are unknown.
